Title:
Senior Devops Engineer
Locations:
Remote
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $55-$60/Hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
We are looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, automation, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) / SAP Converged Cloud is highly preferred.
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Work with SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) / SAP Converged Cloud environments.
- Deploy and manage Open Stack infrastructure and utilize Open Stack CLI tools.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Git Lab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and microservices.
- Work with Cloud Foundry and container orchestration platforms.
- Implement and manage cloud networking using AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and Google VPC.
- Configure monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and Cloud Watch.
- Manage logging solutions including Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Logstash.
- Work with Artifactory/JFrog for repository management and Consul/Zookeeper for service management.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Power Shell.
- Implement security best practices, including hardened containers/images, STIG requirements, and secrets management.
- Work with Hashi Corp Vault and Git Hub Secrets for secure credential and secret management.
- Support cloud-native application deployments, troubleshooting, and production operations.
- Work with SAP HANA and demonstrate familiarity with SAP solutions and technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and delivery teams.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Delivery, Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or related technologies.
- 2+ years of hands-on cloud operations experience developing, delivering, and maintaining cloud products.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Strong experience with Ansible and/or Chef.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Open Stack deployments and CLI tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, and/or ArgoCD.
- Strong Linux/RHEL experience.
- Experience with cloud networking, monitoring, logging, and security.
- Programming or scripting experience in at least one language, preferably Python or Power Shell.
- Professional experience in software engineering or Dev Ops roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
