Systems Administrator; VDI​/Citrix​/Hyper-V) Security Clearance

Position: Systems Administrator (VDI / Citrix / Hyper-V) with Security Clearance
Razor is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) expertise to support secure, mission-critical government IT environments at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Florida. This is a 100% onsite position supporting a secure government environment. The role will focus on the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise virtual desktop and virtualization infrastructure, with particular emphasis on Citrix and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting highly available virtualized environments, troubleshooting complex VDI performance and connectivity issues, and administering Windows-based enterprise infrastructure. Candidates must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible to obtain SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) access. Responsibilities
* Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
* Configure, manage, and support Citrix virtualization and application delivery platforms.
* Administer and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments.
* Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain Windows servers and virtual machines.
* Monitor VDI infrastructure for availability, capacity, performance, and reliability.
* Troubleshoot virtual desktop issues involving user sessions, profiles, applications, networking, storage, and system performance.
* Provision and manage virtual machines, desktop images, templates, and associated infrastructure.
* Perform system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and lifecycle maintenance.
* Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and other Windows enterprise services associated with the VDI environment.
* Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and virtualization issues.
* Support backup, recovery, system availability, and continuity requirements.
* Implement system hardening and security configurations in accordance with government cybersecurity requirements.
* Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
* Work closely with network, cybersecurity, engineering, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
* Support system testing, upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities within the secure environment at Eglin AFB.

Required Qualifications
* Active Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
* Ability to obtain and maintain SCI and SAP eligibility/access.
* Strong hands-on experience administering Citrix VDI environments.
* Strong experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
* Experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments.
* Experience supporting and troubleshooting VDI and virtualized infrastructure.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows networking.
* Experience with system patching, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
* Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including virtual machines, storage, networking, resource allocation, and high availability.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple infrastructure components.
* Ability to work 100% onsite at Eglin AFB, Florida.
* U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting Citrix technologies such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, Store Front, Delivery Controllers, Director, Provisioning Services (PVS), or Machine Creation Services (MCS).
* Experience with Hyper-V clustering and Failover Clustering.
* Experience with Power Shell scripting and infrastructure automation.
* Experience with enterprise storage and backup technologies.
* Familiarity with DISA STIGs, system hardening, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
* Experience supporting systems within SCI, SAP, DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified environments.
* Security, CISSP, Microsoft, Citrix, or related technical certifications. Clearance Requirements Active Top Secret clearance is required at the time of application. Candidates must also possess the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility and Special Access Program (SAP) access. Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will be a hands-on Systems Administrator who has spent significant time supporting Citrix-based VDI environments, rather than someone with only general Windows administration experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who can independently troubleshoot issues across the Citrix, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and storage layers of a virtual desktop environment.
