Data Scientist

Wheely seeks a Data Scientist to enhance ML models and algorithms in collaboration with engineers and product managers. Ideal candidates have a strong academic background and experience in data science or machine learning.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to tackle complex and ambiguous problems. Your primary focus will be on researching and prototyping machine learning models, which you will then deploy into production. Continuous improvement of existing algorithms is a key aspect of your contributions.

The position is suited for candidates with a solid academic foundation in STEM and at least two years of relevant experience. Familiarity with geospatial data, operations research, or real-time ML systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Success will involve not only technical expertise but also collaboration and innovation in model development.
