This position will be part of the CHANNEL BUSINESS UNIT--Supporting all TE Business Units, the Channel Business Unit collaborates with approximately 300 distributors around the world on TE's global distribution vision, strategy and business initiatives.

Job OverviewAt TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as an Intern in the Channel Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
- Own one real Channel business use case for the summer and turn it into a working AI pilot, not a slide deck.
- Build that pilot in Databricks or another TE AI tool, with support from me TE AI team.
- Get your hands on real business data.
- Put your pilot in front of the people who would actually use it and find out whether it helps.
- Deliver something at the end of the summer that the team can keep using.
At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:
- Take one prioritized Channel use case from problem statement to working pilot over the course of your internship.
- Build the pilot in Databricks or another TE AI tool, such as Copilot Studio, ChatGPT or Claude.
- Get the data your pilot needs, using SQL and Python to pull it and clean it up.
- Test the pilot with the people who would use it, measure whether it saves time or improves accuracy, and improve it based on their feedback.
- Hand off a working pilot at the end of the summer with a live demo, a short how-to, and your recommendation on whether TE should scale it.
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Data Analytics from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
- Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
- Have coursework or project experience with Python and SQL
- Have played around with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot and are curious where they help and where they fall short
- Enjoy messy problems and can explain your work in plain language
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.
