Compliance & Regulatory Specialist
Jacksonville, FL - On-Site
Lead product strategy, manage the full lifecycle of pricing and risk governance. Reporting directly to the President, the specialist will play a key role in ensuring strategic growth, support and maintenance of our insurance product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance oversight for legal insurance products, ensuring adherence to state regulations, licensing requirements, and evolving regulatory changes
- Serve as primary liaison to state insurance departments
- Prepare, submit, and manage insurance policy, endorsement, rate and rule filings through SERFF
- Manage the full insurance product lifecycle, including design, development, regulatory approval, implementation, and ongoing review
- Partner with actuaries to develop ratings, evaluate pricing strategies, and ensure risk-based underwriting and disclosure compliance
- Analyze compliance, underwriting, and pricing data to identify trends, risks, and performance improvement opportunities
- 5+ years of experience in voluntary insurance regulatory compliance, regulatory management or regulatory affairs
- Experience working in a licensed regulatory industry with strong working knowledge of state insurance department filing requirements, regulatory filings, product approvals, audits, insurance law and governance requirements
- Experience filing insurance policies through SERFF
- Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience as a paralegal will be considered in lieu of a degree
