Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil defense litigation cases involving insurance defense, liability, product, premises, and auto claims
Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
Manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar, with a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law.

Extensive experience in Civil Defense Litigation, particularly in Insurance Defense cases.

Strong knowledge and understanding of liability, product, premises, auto, and trucking accident laws and regulations.

Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
