Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply chain operations.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the organization’s purchasing and procurement strategy while ensuring materials are available to support production and business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead procurement, purchasing, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, supplier performance, and delivery.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements.
• Build and manage supplier relationships while evaluating supplier performance.
• Oversee inventory planning, material planning, and demand forecasting.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to support production schedules.
• Source materials for new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change orders (ECO/ECN).
• Identify supply chain risks and develop alternate supplier strategies.
• Analyze procurement spend and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Improve purchasing processes and procurement workflows.
• Maintain purchasing data and documentation within the ERP system.
• Track supplier KPIs including quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.

We’re looking for someone with experience in:

• 5+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Strategic Sourcing experience
• Manufacturing or industrial operations
• Supplier negotiations and contract management
• Inventory management and production planning
• Demand planning and material planning
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Procurement analytics and cost reduction initiatives
• Supplier development and vendor management
• Excel and data analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting new product launches (NPI)
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
• APICS, ASCM, CPSM, or CPM certifications are a plus
