Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Our client, a leading food distribution and supply chain company, is seeking a  
** Buyer
* * to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the  
** Purchasing Department
** supporting the  
** Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Supplier Relations teams** . The ideal candidate will have  
** strong analytical and data interpretation skills, cross-functional communication skills, and ownership with proactive problem-solving abilities** , which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $28.85/hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Review purchasing guides daily and place accurate purchase orders with suppliers based on inventory demands.

+ Analyze daily inventory reports, including out-of-stock and over-allocated reports, to maintain optimal stock levels.

+ Confirm purchase orders for accurate pricing, quantities, freight costs, and delivery dates.

+ Manage inventory levels, product dating, returns, and coordinate on-time deliveries with logistics teams.

+ Maintain vendor and item master data, including pricing, freight terms, ship points, and supplier information.

** What's Needed?*
* + 3 to 5 years of buying or procurement experience.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and suppliers.

+

Experience with inventory management, purchase order processing, and vendor management.

+ Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
