Adecco Creative is partnering with a NYC based fashion brand to recruit for a Foreign Trade Zone Analyst role in Jacksonville, FL. This position will be a 5-month contract and will be 30 hours per week. The role will also be hybrid in Jacksonville.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This temporary position supports the daily operation of the Foreign Trade Zone by performing customs processing, inventory management, reporting, and data analysis activities. The role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, FTZ requirements, and company procedures. The successful candidate will use FTZ systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to monitor inventory movement, process customs documentation, identify discrepancies, and support operational and compliance initiatives within the FTZ department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customs Process Oversight
  • Collect and review necessary documentation to support FTZ customs processing.
  • Create CF3461 and CF7501 entries accurately and timely.
  • File CF7512 inbound documents and CF214 admissions with CBP as required.
  • Process Permit to Transfer documentation for inbound shipments.
  • Support daily FTZ processing activities in the Integration Point software platform, including receipts, adjustments, and shipping orders.
  • Assist with customs documentation reviews to help identify missing information, discrepancies, or compliance concerns.
  • Perform data validation reviews to ensure accuracy of FTZ admissions, withdrawals, adjustments, and reporting.
  • Generate and maintain required FTZ reports using spreadsheets and system data.
  • Monitor daily workflow queues and proactively communicate issues requiring escalation.
  • Support inventory reconciliation activities by researching and helping resolve data discrepancies between systems.
  • Follow up carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams as needed.
  • Assist with tracking inbound shipments and maintaining visibility to shipment status.
  • Maintain effective communication between FTZ, Operations, carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
  • Assist with special projects, compliance audits, reporting requests, and documentation reviews within the department.
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to operate office equipment, phone system and company software.
  • Experience working with large data sets, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, inventory control, data analysis, administrative support, or a related area preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, filtering, sorting, pivot tables, and data analysis.
PROFICIENCY

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and root causes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to data integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office is proficient and capable of learning new systems, reporting tools, and computer applications quickly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with FTZ operations, inventory management, customs compliance, import/export documentation, or trade compliance processes is preferred.
