Responsibilities

Perform unscheduled interior and exterior building repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, light bulbs, fixtures, air conditioning belts, filters, door and lock sets. Conduct scheduled maintenance on buildings and equipment as assigned. Install ceiling grids and paint interior and exterior surfaces. Operate tools such as power tools, drill press, circular saw, bench grinder, key cutting machine, wrenches, and other hand tools. Initiate requests and manage inventory of expendable parts and supplies.

Assist supervisor in workload planning, workflow organization, and time management. Complete paperwork, mileage logs, work requests, and related documentation daily. Assist with moves, providing daily updates to supervisor. Attend staff meetings as required. Assist with staff relocation, furniture and equipment moving, and mounting items to walls using hand or power tools. Assist with lawn maintenance and grounds upkeep, including mowing, trimming, and debris removal.

Maintain lawn equipment and apply insecticides and fumigants as needed. Drive a one‑ton cargo van, perform vehicle inspections and maintenance, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and submit monthly vehicle logs. Participate in Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Plan operations and provide emergency assistance as required. Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor or management, including meetings and training, and travel as instructed. Remain computer literate to complete training and other tasks online.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic familiarity with and experience operating power tools.
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Experience assembling furniture and equipment.
  • Ability to complete physical tasks including moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
