Description
The successful candidate will be located in Florida. Manager, Direct Sales (New Markets) is a senior field leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple markets through direct leadership of Sr. Supervisors and Lead Sales Executives. This role is accountable for market performance, leadership effectiveness, and consistent execution across all assigned territories. The Manager plays a critical role in scaling results, developing frontline leaders, and ensuring Clearwave Fiber’s sales standards are executed consistently across markets.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, the Area Manager serves as the bridge between strategy and field execution.
Your MissionAs a Manager, Direct Sales, you will own the performance, culture, and operational health of multiple markets. You are responsible for developing strong Supervisors and Lead Sales Executives, driving accountability, and ensuring each market delivers predictable, scalable results.
Duties and Responsibilities- Market Ownership and Performance:
Own sales performance across multiple assigned markets, ensuring teams meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets. Analyze trends, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies to drive sustained improvement. - Lead and Develop Leaders:
Directly lead, coach, and develop Sr. Supervisors and Lead Sales Executives. Ensure leaders are effectively coaching their teams, holding consistent standards, and driving performance. Build leadership capability and bench strength across markets. - Execution and Operational Consistency:
Ensure consistent execution across all markets, including activity standards, territory management, reporting accuracy, and adherence to company policies and sales processes. - Talent Strategy and Workforce Planning:
Oversee hiring strategy across markets in partnership with leadership and recruiting. Support Supervisors and Lead Sales Executives in talent selection, onboarding, development, and retention. - Performance Management and Accountability:
Drive a strong performance culture by ensuring clear expectations, consistent coaching, and timely corrective action when needed. Support leaders in managing performance plans and employee relations. - Data, Reporting, and Forecasting:
Provide accurate market-level reporting, forecasts, and insights to Sr. leadership. Use data to proactively manage performance, resource allocation, and growth initiatives. - Field Leadership Presence:
Maintain a strong field presence across markets by regularly riding with Supervisors, Lead Sales Executives, and sales reps. Coach in real time, observe execution, and reinforce Clearwave’s sales and customer experience standards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Regional leadership, operations, marketing, and enablement teams to align execution with company priorities and growth initiatives. - Additional Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives and market growth.
- A proven sales leader with experience leading Supervisors/TL and frontline sales reps
- Strong at coaching, driving accountability, and scaling performance
- Comfortable managing multiple markets and competing priorities
- Data-driven and disciplined in execution
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Direct sales or telecommunications experience preferred
Requirements
Qualifications- 3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in direct sales or telecommunications
- Experience leading Supervisors and frontline sales teams
- Exposure to new market launches or territory expansion is preferred
- Strong operational discipline and execution mindset
- Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders without direct reporting authority
- Strong communication and field leadership presence
