We are hiring enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Mayday Family at our Brand New Anastasia Island location! Our General Manager position offers competitive wages, a weekly tip share, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and of course, lots of ice cream!

Operations- Manages all day-to-day operations of their store
- Ensures excellent customer service experience in all managed shops
- Maintains inventory levels of all goods
- Sets opening and closing check lists for store employees and maintains accountability
- Utilizes problem-solving skills to assess available resources and resolves issues effectively
- Analyze store data and sales trends to achieve sales goals
- Maintains store budget and monitors spending
- Schedules weekly shifts for all Scoop Crew team members
- Ensures a clean and safe working environment are maintained
- Communicate with Retail Director frequently
- Communicates with Scoop Crew on a daily basis
- Plans and executes crisis management policies for events such as hurricanes, pandemics, crime, attrition and meltdowns
- Leads new store openings in your region
- Communicates with Office Administration and HR as needed
- Hire, train and maintain all Scoop Crew members
- Supervise and guide team towards company/store goals and mission
- Provide consistent team support and weekly one-on-one meetings
- Conduct regular performance reviews to discuss achievements, raises, and address any concerns
- Implement strategies, new ideas and company culture
- Plan monthly staff meetings and bi-annual staff outings
- Attend bi-weekly retail meetings
- Attend all-team company meetings
- Demonstrates a genuine care for Scoop Crew members and the overall company
- Excellent problem solver with a deep understanding and appreciation of our brand and products
- Remains calm when facing challenges and adeptly finds solutions
- Exceptional communicator who can tailor communication styles to different managers
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong planning skills
- Committed to ongoing team training and development
- Excellent time management skills, both personally and professionally
- Several years of experience in retail, food, or customer service industries
- Proven track record of managing a team effectively
