True House is seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead and scale our manufacturing sales organization serving the residential homebuilding and light-frame construction markets.
This role is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding key accounts, strengthening pricing discipline, and aligning sales performance with plant capacity and operational execution.
Reporting to the Vice President of True House, the Director of Sales will lead the sales team, influence pricing and product mix strategy, and ensure revenue and margin targets are achieved through disciplined execution.
What You’ll Do- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing sales team
- Drive revenue growth while protecting gross margin performance
- Influence pricing strategy, product mix, and account development plans
- Expand wallet share within existing builder and contractor relationships
- Strengthen cross-sell opportunities across trusses, panels, and related products
- Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align sales commitments with production capacity
- Monitor pipeline, backlog health, forecast accuracy, and margin performance
- Use data and reporting to drive accountability and performance improvements
- Maintain visibility into gross profit and financial performance across the sales portfolio
- 7+ years of sales or business development experience in building materials, component manufacturing, or residential construction
- 3–5+ years of sales leadership experience
- Strong understanding of roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, or related building systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth — not just top-line revenue
- Financial acumen and understanding of gross margin drivers
- Proven leadership presence with ability to hold teams accountable
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
