Position

Summary

The EH&S Manager will develop and implement programs to deliver high‑performance Environmental, Health and Safety solutions for the Client account. This role provides guidance and support to site management, program owners, and personnel across multiple facilities while leading a team of EH&S professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EH&S programs and initiatives that comply with regulatory requirements and promote employee participation and accountability.
  • Assist site leaders in identifying, eliminating, and controlling hazardous conditions using safety standards, best practices, and analytical techniques.
  • Complete site audits, manage improvement plans, and benchmark outstanding programs.
  • Ensure site‑specific programs are implemented, documented, and standardized to meet KPI’s and legal requirements while complying with regulatory, client, and company requirements.
Communication & Leadership
  • Clearly communicate with client directors and JLL leadership on EH&S matters and performance metrics.
  • Provide oversight and alignment on specific topics applicable to account employees across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels to achieve safety objectives.
Training & Compliance
  • Develop and conduct training programs in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all training activities and maintain accurate training records.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant personnel.
  • Deliver instructor‑led safety training effectively across multiple sites.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Capture EH&S incidents, injuries, near misses, and other events in corporate systems, analyze, manage, and report the data.
  • Collect data and provide reports as needed to support the Client’s compliance programs.
  • Monitor record‑keeping and reporting performance for risk‑related requirements and objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and develop proactive safety strategies.
Audits & Investigations
  • Conduct and lead EH&S audits across sites to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, record‑keeping, and follow‑up activities.
  • Make recommendations for prevention based on audit findings and investigations.
  • Track and monitor corrective action implementation to ensure effective resolution.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with EHS compliance and management systems, preferably within facility operations; experience in distribution, warehousing, or maintenance operations is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in risk or related field as it relates to facility management.
  • College degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements, fundamentals of safety education, industrial safety, risk management, and data automation for safety functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and advanced MS Excel (data visualization and basic functions).
  • Experience using AI to analyze safety data, identify trends, and develop strategic prevention objectives.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to conduct instructor‑led training, and ability to work well with others across organizations.
  • Self‑motivated, works well with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines and delivering high‑quality output.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 60% of the time and respond to critical matters after hours.
