** Overview:
** As a Hydro Excavation Branch Manager at Porta Kleen, you will lead all aspects of branch operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. This role is critical in driving branch performance, overseeing financial accountability, fostering team development, and managing client relationships in a fast-paced, 24/7 industrial service environment.
** What you’ll do as an employee at Porta Kleen:
*** Oversee daily operations of the hydro excavation branch, ensuring alignment with Porta Kleen safety standards and company policies.
* Lead and support operations through employee training, development, and performance management.
* Drive profitability by managing branch budgets, capital expenditures, and full P&L accountability.
* Collaborate with the sales team on pricing, bids, customer outreach, and regional growth strategies.
* Supervise operational execution through your Operations Manager, ensuring workforce and equipment are effectively scheduled and deployed.
* Regularly engage with jobsites, employees, and clients to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
* Foster a strong working relationship within a union environment and ensure compliance with labor agreements.
* Provide 24/7 branch oversight including emergency response readiness, balancing manpower and equipment logistics.

* What you’ll need:

*** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
* 5–7 years of management experience, preferably in construction, oil/gas, or industrial services.
* Strong leadership in human resources functions including hiring, coaching, and employee relations.
* Experience managing operations across geographically dispersed locations.
* Knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems, with multitasking and project management skills.
* Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to work extended hours and be available for emergency response support.
