Program Summary
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the USMC for over 35 years, planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and logistics for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for Expeditionary Forces.
TitleMCPP - Supply Supervisor
Job SummaryManages the day‑to‑day operations, coordinating employees performing supply chain functions—requisition management, material/property accounting, financial compliance, and disposing of equipment and supplies—in direct support of the MCPP. Responsible for executing logistics actions necessary to accept, account for, and prepare equipment for shipment by supervising data entry personnel performing supply chain duties to maximize equipment and personnel use in a safe environment. Determines work assignments based on priority and availability of inventory and supplies.
Inspects work to ensure compliance with procedures and schedules. Coordinates with government QA representatives and other managers to ensure compatibility of procedures and integration of operations. Ensures compliance with administrative and government regulations.
- Requirements planning, analysis, and inventory records management.
- Stock replenishment, allowance item management, and property accountability.
- DASF management, report analysis, and project development.
- Prepare and document instructions and procedures in strict compliance with local procedures, Statement of Work, and Marine Corps directives.
- BA/BS degree with a major in logistics engineering, property control/inventory, supply management, accounting, or related field.
- Or a combination of college credit, formal training, and directly related work experience.
- Five years of progressive experience in a supply chain environment.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- US Citizen; proof required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
- Working knowledge of GCSS‑MC, DPAS and/or STRATIS integrated applications.
