This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. This is a full-time, entry-level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network. Our warehouses are fast-paced environments where standing, walking, and having on‑the‑production‑floor conversations are common as a supply chain leader.
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for engaging, leading, and developing your team in a warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to meet goals. Amazon provides extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader. As a people manager, you will ensure that your team has all the tools needed to succeed and maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance and performance at work.
Key Job Responsibilities- Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct reports as Amazon Associates
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs (typically a fixed four‑day work week with three days off)
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle & sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (where applicable), and step in as needed
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (must have completed all degree requirements before your first day).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary ranges (US Dollars):
- Deltona – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Jacksonville – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Jupiter – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Miami – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Milton – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Naples – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Port St. Lucie – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Ruskin – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
- Temple Terrace – $65,200.00 – $75,000.00 annually
