Program Administration, Analysis, and Oversight duties include but are not limited to:

• Plans and executes Regional MWR Programs through the administration, operation, and technical direction of all delivery systems and program components.
• Manages, administers, and provides technical direction of MWR programs within Navy Region Southeast.
• Staffs/drafts replies to, or endorsements on correspondence about issues of the division which may include coordination with staff members of CNRSE staff, MWR Departments, CNIC, other services, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), or higher authority as necessary.
• Periodically visits and tours other operations and incorporates best practices.
• Evaluates, suggests, and serves as the technical expert to the Director for QOL Programs in matters relating to MWR.
• Constantly updates and evaluates program components which are essential for provision of appropriate MWR programs and services.
• Collaborates with Ashore Galleys for integrated food service approach.
• Collaborates with Child and Youth Programs for integrated family readiness approach Liaison with CNIC Fleet Readiness.
• Obtains additional revenue to offset program expenses through an aggressive sponsorship and advertising program.
• Develops and oversees Executive Level Intern Program for MWR activities.
• Maintains database of installation programs, services, facilities, and specialized equipment.
• Makes changes in organization of work and or assignment of functions to improve workflow, promote job satisfaction and increase productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Recommends and justifies revisions in staffing levels, work priorities and deadlines.
• Responsible for affecting appropriate position management principles throughout the program.

Consulting and Coordinating duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs special projects and research/studies in coordination with the CNRSE QOL Regional Program Director and various military and civilian professional technical experts in the development, administration, or operation of MWR programs and facilities.
• Assists installations in working towards achieving MWR Accreditation.
• Prepares information, analysis, and follow-up reports following site visits, conferences, meetings, briefs, or presentations.

Policy Development and Implementation duties include but are not limited to:

• Interprets policy for MWR programs and operating policies that affect elements of the CNRSE MWR division and other MWR agencies and formulates correspondences concerning questions or policies for signature by the N92 or N9.
• Responsible for ensuring that each department is operated in compliance with CNICINST 1710.3, and all other applicable instructions and regulations and generally accepted standards of the profession.
• Technical authority for MWR manuals, instructions, and policy statements.

General duties include but are not limited to:

• Works with various teams to ensure regional Quality of Life Services Office (QOLSO), and at times installation business offices, are operating most efficiently and effectively.
• Promotes internal and external customer service and continuously keeps own skills alive by ongoing customer service training as provided.
• Performs general office functions including but not limited to filing, answering email, answering phones, copying, faxing, scanning, handling mail/Fed Ex, sorting mail, requesting supplies, etc.
