Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning from contract award to completion, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project execution across multiple sites to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and client specifications.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges during project execution.
- Manage and mentor Project Engineers, Site Incharges, and other project staff.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams for timely material availability.
- Optimize manpower and equipment utilization across projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and consultants.
- Conduct review meetings with clients and internal teams to track progress and address issues.
- Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Approve resource allocation and control project expenditures.
- Provide accurate cost forecasts and report deviations to management.
- Ensure adherence to company quality systems (ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent) and safety regulations.
- Implement risk assessments and ensure proper documentation of site activities.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and client approvals.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, cash flow statements, and project performance metrics.
- Present status updates and key insights to top management.
- B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Ceramic / Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 12-18 years of experience in refractory project management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale refractory installation/maintenance projects (cement, steel, powerplants, etc.).
- Strong understanding of refractory materials, project costing, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, safety compliance, and industrial best practices.
