Senior Manager-Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning from contract award to completion, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project execution across multiple sites to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and client specifications.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges during project execution.
• Manage and mentor Project Engineers, Site Incharges, and other project staff.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams for timely material availability.
• Optimize manpower and equipment utilization across projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and consultants.
• Conduct review meetings with clients and internal teams to track progress and address issues.
• Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Approve resource allocation and control project expenditures.
• Provide accurate cost forecasts and report deviations to management.
• Ensure adherence to company quality systems (ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent) and safety regulations.
• Implement risk assessments and ensure proper documentation of site activities.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and client approvals.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, cash flow statements, and project performance metrics.
• Present status updates and key insights to top management.

• B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Ceramic / Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 12-18 years of experience in refractory project management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale refractory installation/maintenance projects (cement, steel, powerplants, etc.).
• Strong understanding of refractory materials, project costing, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, safety compliance, and industrial best practices.
