5+ years
We're looking for a Program Manager who can hold the through-line on complex, multi-team initiatives and keep them moving when the plan meets reality. You'll own the operating rhythm across several work streams at once, translating fuzzy goals into sequenced plans, and making sure the right people are unblocked before they know they're blocked.
The client is a growth-stage technology company running several concurrent programs across product, engineering, and go-to-market. The work spans strategy and execution, so you're as comfortable in a leadership readout as you are chasing down a dependency two layers deep. This role suits someone who finds satisfaction in turning chaos into a plan people actually trust.
If you've ever watched a good initiative stall because no one owned the connective tissue between teams, this is the role where you get to be that owner.
What You'll Do- Run point on cross-functional programs from kickoff through delivery, keeping scope, timeline, and stakeholders aligned
- Build and maintain the program plan: milestones, dependencies, risks, and the decisions still open
- Drive the operating cadence, standups, steering reviews, and status reporting that leadership can read in two minutes
- Surface risks early and bring options, not just problems, to the people who can act on them
- Coordinate across product, engineering, design, and external partners so handoffs don't drop
- Track and communicate progress in a way that's honest about what's on track and what isn't
- Facilitate the hard conversations about trade-offs, priority, and resourcing when timelines collide
- Improve the way programs run over time, not just the program in front of you
- 5+ years managing complex programs or cross-functional initiatives in a technology or product environment
- A track record of delivering multi-team work on time without burning the teams out
- Fluency with program and project tooling (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) and the reporting that sits on top of it
- Strong written communication; you can turn a messy status into a clear one-pager
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and the judgment to know what to elevate
- Experience working with distributed, remote teams across time zones
- PMP, Agile, or similar certification is a plus, not a requirement
You’ll join a team that treats program management as a craft, not a status‑update function. The bar for clarity is high, the autonomy is real, and the work has visible impact on what actually ships.
This is a role for someone who wants ownership over outcomes, not just calendars, and who takes quiet pride in a program that runs so smoothly it looks easy.
