CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $30.49.

Hours:
1st Shift 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturday work as needed
The job responsibilities for a Warehouse Utility Operator include but are not limited to the following:
- SAP knowledge - receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products as needed.
- Understands production flows/schedules, customer demand/sales volume flows, supply and demand concepts to determine stocked items to be managed.
- Self-starter work with minimal supervision
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Receive and unload raw materials as needed
- Unload chemicals from railcars and tanker trucks.
- Verify paperwork and COA prior to receiving raw materials.
- Follow working standards and ensure accuracy of the unloading process.
- Operate forklift to unload and transport raw & pack
- Receive raw materials into SAP and properly account for the paperwork.
- Verify bill of lading / picklist against actual quantity received.
- Conduct regularly scheduled cycle counts and identify root causes of any inventory variances. Including month end raw & pack counts
- Inspect mobile equipment and complete the appropriate safety checklist
- Assist production team with raw materials movement and staging
- Communicate inventory status and support the process to replenish raw materials with service coordinator
- Coordinate switches with the railroad to ensure proper placement of the railcars.
- Manages the unloading of railcars to avoid/minimize demurrage charges and accidental release.
- Support the reporting and corrective actions associated with supplier quality issues.
- Manage collection and return of plant recyclable streams.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for direct reports for this position.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Have general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages).
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional team player.
- Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
The physical requirements of this position are: (these requirements are typical for most of our manufacturing roles)
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
- Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)
- The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
- The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
- The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or
8)-hour rotating shift schedule. - The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
- The ability to reach or work above the shoulder
