Building Envelope - Jacksonville, FL
The Role
Amrize Building Envelope is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions, and is currently looking for a highly skilled production worker to work out of our Jacksonville, FL facility. The Production Worker Middle performs general duties that include, but are not limited to: measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks;
checking for general defects in material; communicating quality issues to pour table operators during the production run; and may assist with attaching labels, gluing slats to bundles, adjusting saws and loading of the packaging machine plastic.
- Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge
- Monitoring of the product and the equipment i.e. robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors and packaging equipment
- Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines
- Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
- Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures Safely
- Other duties as assigned

Education: High School Diploma
Required
Work Experience:
Must have forklift experience
- One to two years’ experience in a shipping/warehousing operation
- One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired
- Experience with inventory software, SAP preferred
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
