Production Operator

Overview

Location:

Jacksonville, FL (32254)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)

• Run production equipment to manufacture high‑quality building materials.
• Safely operate a sit‑down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Monitor the production line and conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain a steady pace to meet daily production goals during the 2nd shift.
• Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make minor repairs to equipment.
• Read and interpret production work orders for size/print of finished material.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in 5S activities.
• Drive forklift to stack/unstack and move products and materials.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain working knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
• Work assigned shift with overtime as needed (including Saturdays) and maintain a smoke‑free environment.

• Machine operator experience (minimum 2 years).
• Experience using sit‑down forklifts (minimum 2 years).
• Mechanical aptitude; understanding how machines work; mechanical maintenance experience a plus.
• Blueprint reading proficiency (minimum 2 years).
• Strong work ethic, ability to work late shifts, overtime and Saturdays.
• Commitment to safety and a clean workspace.

• High school education required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in machine operation, production or related field.
• Experience level:
  Experienced.

• Competitive pay at $18.50/hour.
