We are seeking a skilled Slip Sheet Operator who is proficient in operating slip sheet forklifts. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Properly inspect and operate a slip sheet forklift.
• Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and adherence to shipping instructions.
• Understand storage and rotation procedures.
• Transport requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, and storage areas.
• Apply knowledge of machine loading capacity and schedule to ensure prompt delivery of items.
• Use protective materials and strapping equipment to secure loads; remove and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Report any issues with materials or transportation to the supervisor.
• Manage and organize drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
• Service equipment as needed and report mechanical or electrical difficulties to the supervisor.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
• Identify and label materials, recording their locations to maintain inventory.
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying locations, then pulling, packing, and loading them.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

• Experience with slip sheet forklifts is required.
• Ability to operate a regular sit-down forklift.
• Proficiency in palletizing and handling at least 5-10 complete loads per day, with each load containing 30 sheets.
• Bilingual skills preferred, with proficiency in Spanish being beneficial.
• Must possess a clean driver's license.
• Experience in production, picking, inventory, warehouse packing, material handling, forklift operation, and inspection.

• Slip Sheet Warehouse Experience is essential.

The role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, operating Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, or 9 am to 6 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville, FL.
