Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

Our client, a leading provider in the logistics industry, is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational excellence of the distribution center. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, good communication abilities, and a detail‑oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech I

Shift :
Monday - Friday 3PM - 11PM

Location: Jacksonville, FL - Westside

Pay Range: $20 - 24 DOE

• Perform basic technical maintenance and repairs on distribution center mechanical equipment.
• Work closely with Maintenance Tech II to gain proficiency in repair and troubleshooting techniques.
• Clear jams and motor problems on conveyor systems.
• Calibrate basic mechanical equipment.
• Record all work completed in a departmental log.

• Two years of experience in technical maintenance, contracting, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals for machinery repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating powered tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and handle multiple assignments under stress.
