Join our collaborative team at Airgas as a Plant Operator and play a vital role in our commitment to delivering excellence in industrial gases and related products. As a Plant Operator, you'll contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our production facility, including the filling of cylinders, to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your dedication and expertise will help us maintain our position as a pioneer in the industry.
- Operate and maintain equipment within our production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts, to ensure a steady supply of industrial gases.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Safely handle and transport cylinders, including filling and quality checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and thoughtful organizational skills.
- A shared commitment to safety and following the protocols that keep our whole team secure.
- Flexibility to work shifts and occasional extra hours when needed to support your teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently .
- Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
- Industrial Gas Experience.
