Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Position:
Manufacturing (Sustaining) Engineer – Senior level at Medtronic, Jacksonville clean room. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, R&D, Strategic Sourcing, and Packaging functions to develop and refine lean manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures.

• Design manufacturing processes with validation experience (IQ, OQ, MSA, PQ).
• Arrange machines within plant facilities to create efficient and productive layouts.
• Define the sequence of operations and establish procedures for fabricating tools, equipment, and other elements influencing product performance.
• Adapt machine or equipment designs to fit factory and production conditions.
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and refine these techniques.
• Provide guidance on design concepts and specification requirements for optimal equipment utilization.
• Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulatory standards.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  
  ORMaster’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  
  ORPh.D. with no required experience.
• For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): $102,400 – $153,600 (USD).
