We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Aerospace Office Expeditor to join our team and support our client's fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Position SummaryThe Aerospace Office Expeditor plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials and information throughout an aerospace facility. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills to support production schedules and maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities Expedite Material FlowCoordinate the movement of parts, components, and materials across departments and to production in line with schedule demands.
Tracking and MonitoringTrack progress of work orders, identify bottlenecks, and proactively communicate status updates.
Cross‑Departmental CommunicationAct as a liaison between production, purchasing, engineering, and external suppliers to resolve logistical or supply issues.
Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of material movement and generate reports on production status. Ensure proper data entry into internal systems.
Issue ResolutionIdentify and resolve material flow issues including shortages, delays, or quality concerns.
Skills and Qualifications- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in expediting, logistics, or materials coordination role.
- Familiarity with supply chain and manufacturing workflows in aerospace environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
This position must meet ITAR export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
