Production Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Implementation and maintenance of safety & continuous flow production methods with plant manager.
• Active identification and implementation of process improvements, including RM cost reduction, asset utilization, team balancing, and matching team strategy to situation.
• Continuous improvement of leadership: team dynamics, change preparation, promoting and developing team pipeline with plant manager.
• Final sign off with scheduler on daily/weekly production schedule.
• Establish formal and informal communications for staff and employees (e.g. morning safety huddle, mid‑day meeting, maintenance planning, operations & sales & engineering).
• Ensure proper training of employees with leads and systematic trainer to advance the business.
• Responsible for plant layout, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency.
• Utilize inventory management process (Production‑Purchasing Report) to keep finished goods inventory meeting TWC targets.
• Ensure monthly OSHA compliance training is conducted according to schedule requirements with EH&S Tech and EH&S Area manager.
• Ensure safety committee is actively engaged in promoting awareness for safety programs/initiatives and driving improvement toward an Employee Driven, Hazard Controlled environment.
• Responsible for overall preventative/predictive maintenance program for the facility with maintenance manager.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of precast processes and equipment, and have workable knowledge of industry technological developments and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years leadership experience in an industrial environment leading multiple departments.
• Associate's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Production or related field or Bachelor's degree preferred.
