This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based at Infra Pipes’ facility in Jacksonville, FL. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical issues, and completing repairs on production lines, support equipment, and building systems.
The role also involves inspecting equipment for wear, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and assisting with equipment installations or upgrades. The Maintenance Technician follows safety and quality standards, uses work orders and maintenance management systems, and collaborates closely with operations, engineering, and safety personnel.
- Strong equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance skills, with experience working on production or manufacturing machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to identify root causes of equipment failures and performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair practices to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems; basic electrical, pneumatic, plumbing and hydraulic knowledge is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Commitment to safety, including adherence to lockout/tagout and other safety procedures in an industrial environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or diploma in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, plastics, piping, or related heavy industry is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL, including occasional overtime, shift work, or on-call support as needed.
