Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in woodworking applications. This role is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality custom wood components.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and fabricate wood components.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, CAD files and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Set up machines, load materials, and monitor production runs.
- Perform basic CNC programming and adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and maintain quality control standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times in the workshop.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking environment
- Familiarity with CAD software (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic understanding of woodworking materials and processes
- Strong problem‑solving skills and work ethic
- Technical training in CNC operation preferred.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials and techniques preferred.
- Experience with cabinet or millwork production is a plus.
- Ability to lift materials and work in a shop environment.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols.
