Director of Bakery Operations Requirements & Qualifications

Strong professional baking background, ideally as a pastry chef or senior bakery professional
Deep understanding of baking science, dough fermentation, and production troubleshooting
Proven leadership experience in bakery, pastry, or food production operations
Background in independent or owner-operated businesses preferred
Experience with financial management including COGS, labor control, and purchasing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, and digital communication tools
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
