Injection Operator (Night Shift)

Essential Functions- Responsible for overall preparation, set‑up, starting and running injection equipment.
- Perform minor adjustments to injection equipment as directed; mechanical work requires prior approval.
- Accurately complete and update information forms and logs such as Injection preform and/or cap daily log, destruction logs and quality forms.
- Recognize unsafe conditions, follow plant safety rules and use required PPE.
- Perform visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping in all production areas and break rooms.
- Define the difference between Vpet, Rpet & HDPE resins and identify parts safe for grinding and reintroduction to the resin system.
- Fill inspection sheets according to quality requirements and report defects immediately.
- Work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision and provide relief duties when required.
- Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance as needed.
- Use computer systems such as Shotscope, Electirc
80, Ignition and others to understand line flow and process flow. - Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance and work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.
- Minimum: 2 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment; 2 years operating multiple manufacturing machines (may include education).
- Preferred: 4 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment; 4 years experience working in the position; 2 years managing people/projects (may include education).
