Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities across the plant. This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.
Job Responsibilities- Plan and prepare maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency activities.
- Coordinate required resources including labor, tools, and parts for efficient job execution.
- Develop weekly and outage work scopes for hourly maintenance personnel.
- Maintain and build equipment records, bill of materials, and asset data in CMMS.
- Create, schedule, and close out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in CMMS.
- Continuously improve and adjust PM programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Track and manage spare parts inventory and equipment documentation.
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Mechanical design experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks.
- This is a safety‑sensitive position.
