Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, optimizing workflows, ensuring product quality, and leading production teams to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical manufacturing knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.
• Develop and manage production schedules in coordination with planning, procurement, and engineering teams.
• Lead and supervise production teams, including supervisors, machine operators, and technicians.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.) to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve production or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage labor, material, and overhead costs within budget.
• Hire, train, and develop production staff; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for senior management.
• Support new product introductions and assist in equipment selection or upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Solid understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
