The base hourly rate for this position is $23.87. Our plant in Jacksonville, FL manufactures polyisocyanurate foam insulation panels for use in roofing systems, including tapered, vented, composite, nail board, and sheathing products.
ScheduleMonday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with Saturdays as needed.
Your Day-to-Day- Use safe work practices including the use of eye, ear, respiratory and foot protection equipment as needed. Shows initiative in supporting plant-wide safety by following all safety procedures and policies and reporting hazardous conditions.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, always keeping equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
- Operate a forklift.
- Work as part of a team; relieve and support other team members as needed.
- Maintain communication to support a cohesive team and ensure quality product is being made.
- Complete production reporting.
- Ensure the department's continuous compliance with all policies, procedures, job safety analysis (JSA), and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Forklift experience; certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages).
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, and finished product specifications.
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
- Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling).
- Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
- Ability to safely and effectively work in an often‑dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
- Ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
- Ability to reach or work above the shoulder.
