Blender / Filler Machine Operator

We are seeking Blender / Filler Machine Operators to support a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for mixing products to specification, following formulas and procedures, monitoring blending equipment, supporting filler operations, and helping ensure finished product quality and consistency.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with food, beverage, dairy, plant-based, ingredient batching, mixing, blending, filler, CIP sanitation, or production equipment experience who wants a long-term path into a stable manufacturing role. The work is hands-on, detail-driven, and quality-focused.

The ideal candidate understands that blending is not just "running a machine." This person must follow formulas, verify ingredient usage, monitor temperatures and product levels, prevent overflows, complete sanitation steps, document test results, and communicate clearly across shifts. Strong candidates will be comfortable with 12-hour night shifts, a 2-2-3 schedule, physical ingredient handling, basic computer use, and strict food safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blending and filler equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Mix products according to formulas, specifications, procedures, and production requirements.
  • Communicate with prior-shift operators before resuming batching, blending, or filling activities.
  • Retrieve daily ingredient usage needs from the warehouse at the beginning of the shift.
  • Load ingredients into blenders, tanks, and mix systems, including lifting ingredients up to 50 lbs.
  • Monitor product levels through computer systems to prevent overflow and production disruption.
  • Hand pump flavor liquids from 50-gallon drums into batch tanks as needed.
  • Check blends for correct solids using testing equipment and verify levels are accurate.
  • Monitor batch tank temperatures and report abnormal readings.
  • Use CIP systems to clean soy lines, batching lines, mix tanks, reclaim tanks, and related equipment.
  • Conduct pH, caustic, and acid testing to verify proper cleaning of tanks.
  • Document sanitation, testing, and process results accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning pipes, equipment, tanks, and room areas.
  • Replenish ingredients and materials needed to support production demand.
  • Notify management of equipment, product, sanitation, quality, or safety issues.
  • Follow food safety, GMP, quality, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Support other production, blending, filling, sanitation, or material handling tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, blending, filling, batching, food, beverage, dairy, or ingredient handling experience.
  • Ability to work a 6:00 PM-6:00 AM schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation.
  • Ability to train on day shift for the first few weeks.
  • Ability to lift ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, formulas, and procedure manuals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow formulas and procedures consistently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, weekends, late shifts, overtime, and emergency coverage when needed.
  • Team-oriented mindset and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to pass required testing and onboarding requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience.
  • Dairy, plant-based beverage, creamer, juice, beverage, ingredient, or liquid processing experience.
