Job Overview
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Sanitation Technician to work at our food processing facility in Jacksonville, FL. Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements, suggestions, and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated, demonstrate adaptability, and be willing to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Pay starting is $24.40/hour. Annual increases.
Work ScheduleSecond Shift – 4:00 pm to 2:30 am (Monday – Thursday).
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Sanitize the total plant environment, both inside and outside the buildings.
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and peripheral areas.
- Accountable for the care and cleaning of all sanitation equipment.
- Document required by Governmental Regulatory bodies and Kraft Heinz; ensure effective and efficient use of supplies and equipment.
- Use Green Room metrics in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale to track sanitation results.
- Actively participate in the Idea and Suggestion program for continuous improvement and maintain daily activities and work standards.
- Participate in training of new department employees.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Basic Math
Skills:
addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple fractions. - Pass Basic Computer Skills Assessment.
- Mandatory continuing education/training in Sanitation will be provided.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Knowledge of Safety and KSRMP.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Forklift operator with license.
- Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during a 10‑hour shift.
- Perform frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and other physical movements required for sanitation duties.
- Work in tight or confined spaces as required.
- Remain physically active for extended periods during the shift.
