• All tools and equipment to be used in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations
• Reads and interprets material and cut list information
• Ensures quality parts and materials produced through machinery
• Navigates machinery interface effectively
• Troubleshoots machinery issues, identifies root cause, and retains corrective action knowledge
• Supports all additional tasks directed by the production manager
• Performs daily operator checklist of machinery
• Executes lumber cutting, framing, nailing, and routing timely and in the sequence required by production
• Sorts and organizes scrap material generated from machinery
• Effectively communicates mechanical breaks, errors, and down time to production management and maintenance staff
• Safely and effectively operates computer‑aided systems
• Learns and understands necessary computer programs to perform job related tasks
• Adheres to PPE and safety requirements of the production facility

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable safety regulations.
• Ability to read, count and write

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping and climbing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
