Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers and materials throughout the plant facility.
• Move levers, press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus; position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets and transport load to designated area.
• Conduct inspection of forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.
• Lift and carry up to 65 lbs.
• Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
• Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment daily.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Supply and retrieve pallets or materials from different departments throughout plant as needed.
• Make decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize efficiency.
• May lubricate and replace liquefied‑gas tank.
• Work may require operator to sit for long periods of time.
• Forklift must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.

• 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast‑moving setting with industrial machinery.
• Previous forklift operation experience with certification.
• Shift needed:
  Monday thru Friday and may include weekends.
• All newly hired individuals are promptly screened through the E‑Verify electronic employment authorization program run by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. EOE. D/M/F/V. Must be 18 years of age.

Shift: 2 nd Shift (Monday‑Thursday 6:00 PM–4:45 AM) Friday & weekend reserved for OT.

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.50 per hour.
