Job Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift up to 80 pounds as needed, and use mechanical equipment or team lifts for heavy tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Operate safely at heights up to 25 feet on stock racks.
  • Work on your feet for extended periods and be willing to work overtime as required.
  • Follow all safety policies and operating procedures, and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Assist other departments such as e‑commerce, inventory, and will call as business needs dictate.
  • Perform any other reasonable job‑related tasks as directed by a supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18 years or older.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, state and federal transportation regulations, and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Forklift certification (must be able to pass).
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: frequent lifting up to 80 pounds, pushing force up to 40 pounds, repeated work at heights of 25 feet, exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise, and chemical fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants. Protective equipment required includes steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and self‑retracting lifeline (SRL). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots.
