Loader Position

We are seeking a dedicated and capable individual to join our client's team as a Loader. As a Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and loading of materials within our production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to handle heavy lifting tasks, loading and unloading materials onto machinery and vehicles, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load and unload materials onto machinery, equipment, and vehicles, adhering to established loading procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate material movement, contributing to the overall manufacturing process.
• Perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting, carrying, and moving of materials, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Inspect materials for quality and integrity before loading, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized loading area, ensuring materials are stored in an orderly manner to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of loaded and unloaded materials, ensuring proper documentation for inventory tracking purposes.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to coordinate loading schedules and address any concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing tasks, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
• Participate in training sessions related to equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, often weighing up to [XX] pounds, with proper lifting techniques.
