Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Lay out, fit, align, and assemble prefabricated cast and forged components prior to welding, soldering, brazing, or bonding operations;
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate layout and assembly;
Perform fitting and machining operations such as straightening, grinding, deburring, drilling, reaming, and countersinking materials to close tolerances;
Set up work pieces and materials to be welded, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up;
Perform tack welding as needed to hold components in place prior to final welding;
Repair or rework parts that have become distorted as a result of welding operations to restore required tolerances;
Monitor and verify the quality of work in accordance with statistical process control or other quality control procedures
