Production Worker
Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality duct work, is seeking a Production Worker to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for producing duct work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manually assemble sheet metal duct components and fittings according to work orders or diagrams
- Measure, mark, and cut sheet metal pieces using hand tools such as snips, tape measures, and markers
- Apply sealant or tape to seams and joints to ensure airtight construction
- Attach labels, tags, or job information to completed parts
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects or damage before moving to staging area
- Stack, bundle, and move finished products to designated staging or shipping areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; remove scrap and debris regularly
- Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support the team with general production duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a production, manufacturing or construction setting
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions and diagrams
- Basic measurement skills and use of hand tools
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance
Monday-Friday
• 1st Shift 6am-4:30pm (Must plan to stay until 4:30 but when not busy may leave earlier (2:30PM) Rate: $14/hr
