For our client, we are seeking a Senior Factory Planner to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.
Location:
Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $160,000 – $247,250 annually
Responsibilities- Manage and track daily production build status to resolve forecast and commitment gaps
- Act as the escalation point between Contract Manufacturer and the company
- Identify and communicate production constraints, making trade-off decisions with supply planning
- Drive factory performance metrics such as On-Time Delivery and Inventory accuracy through continuous improvement reviews
- Conduct weekly inventory counts and monitor critical component shortages with cross-functional teams
- Resolve B2B issues with Contract Manufacturer to ensure shipping performance
- Support daily RMA status tracking and coordinate RMA schedules within lead times
- 12-15 years experience in Contract Manufacturing or Production planning
- Bachelor of Science in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics, or related field
- Proficient in business software:
Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, MRP - Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities, including formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with ownership mindset
- APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
