Logistic Services Int. is seeking an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic II to support aviation and defense programs in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will fabricate, repair, and install aircraft sheet metal structures and components using technical data, blueprints, and precise tools. You will perform structural modifications, corrosion repairs, and basic composite work while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Working closely with engineers, logistics, and quality teams, you'll help maintain mission ready aircraft in a collaborative, mission focused environment that supports continuous learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, repair, and install aircraft sheet metal components to technical data and engineering drawings
  • Perform structural modifications, corrosion removal, and non complex composite repairs
  • Use precision measuring tools, rivet guns, and metal forming equipment safely and accurately
  • Inspect completed work for structural integrity, alignment, and compliance with aviation standards
  • Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions
  • Document maintenance actions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, logistics, and quality teams to support aviation and defense programs
  • Follow all safety, FOD, and quality assurance procedures in hangar and shop environments
  • Support continuous improvement, training, and mentoring of junior mechanics
