Where You’ll Make a Difference

Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment used in the production of liquid chemicals for fragrance manufacturing. Perform equipment line-ups, product transfers, tank readings, and routine operational checks to ensure efficient and safe production. Load and unload raw materials and finished products from trucks, railcars, totes, and tank wagons. Collect product samples and support quality control activities to ensure compliance with product specifications.

Manage wastewater handling activities in accordance with environmental and operational requirements. Clean, inspect, and maintain process equipment to support safe and reliable operations. Utilize computer systems for data entry, production documentation, and operational recordkeeping. Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and environmental regulations while working in a chemical manufacturing environment. Work effectively in an outdoor facility under varying weather conditions while supporting plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What

Makes You the Right Fit

High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a minimum of 2 years for candidates with an Associate's degree or current college enrollment. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, totes, tank wagons, or similar equipment. Strong mathematical abilities, including multiplication, division, and basic calculations required for process operations.

Ability to safely operate within a chemical manufacturing environment while adhering to established safety procedures. Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights ranging from 12 to 90 feet, and wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators.

How

You Would Stand Out

Previous experience in an industrial-scale chemical manufacturing facility. High school or college coursework in Chemistry or a related scientific field. Experience with chemical transfer operations, bulk material handling, railcar loading/unloading, or wastewater management systems.
