- Set up and run conventional lathes, vertical mills, and grinders
- Translate blueprints and technical drawings into accurate setups
- Inspect work pieces and verify dimensions to spec
- Complete routine machine maintenance to prevent downtime
- Collaborate to diagnose and resolve machining challenges
- Keep your area organized and compliant with safety requirements
- Record processes and production details with precision
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a Manual Machinist (or closely related)
- Proficiency operating manual machining equipment
- Strong grounding in machining principles and methods
- Fluent in reading blueprints and technical documentation
- Detail-driven mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Clear communicator and dependable teammate
- Knowledge of shop safety practices and standards
