Forklift Operator

CHEP is seeking a safety-focused Forklift/Pallet Sorting Operator to support our Transportation & Logistics operations in the Warehouse & Manufacturing department. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets; inspect, sort, and repair pallets to quality standards; and stage materials for production and shipment. You'll follow strict safety and cleanliness procedures, perform basic equipment checks, and accurately record pallet movements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets and materials
• Inspect, sort, and separate pallets according to quality and repair standards
• Perform basic pallet repairs or route damaged pallets for repair
• Stage pallets and materials for production, storage, and outbound shipments
• Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures in the warehouse
• Complete basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
• Accurately record pallet movements, counts, and work completed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets
