• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all equipment and vehicles in the yard
• Build and install steel girders, columns, and other materials
• Loading and unloading of materials
• Weld and cut structural metal components
• Ensure the use of safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Accurate workflow and timely completion of projects
• Use engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the materials needed and the sequence of tasks

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a welding role in a building material supply or similar industry
• Strong knowledge of construction yard operations and equipment
• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating machinery, such as shears, brakes, grinders, and flame cutters, to cut, bend, and form metal
